The dahlias are still setting buds, more than will open this time of year.
The sunflowers have turned. The tomatoes have dropped and the turkeys have returned, basking on their favorite rock.
We are cutting flowers and splitting wood in the same week. The wood was a gift from the September Nor'easter.
One cold night and it's a different farm.
