A Standard Peavey

How might one move pieces of the trunk of a century old sugar maple?  The standard Peavey fits the bill for some.

According to the Peavey Manufacturing Company  (http://peaveymfg.com/), Joseph Peavey invented the original logging tool in 1857 in Maine, where it is still made today. This Peavey, decades old, still serves remarkably well in the right hands, such as Kingsley's.

Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.

A Missing Piece...?
Not a problem.
