Clio Newton's Connecticut Exhibit over Thanksgiving Weekend

Clio has returned from The Florence Academy of Fine Arts in Italy and is preparing for her residency at the AKKU Atelier in Zurich, Switzerland.

It is getting harder to see a collection of Clio Newton's work in person, without heading to New York City, or more likely flying to Europe.  And as much fun as it is to share online images, there is nothing like being able to really examine the physical charcoal drawings and oil paintings.

But there is good news.  She is having a rare nearby exhibit (she hasn't completely forgotten us local people!)  at Hadlyme Hall this holiday weekend.  This Shoreline Times article (link) has the specifics.

Many pieces of her recent work will be on display.

And if you miss this event, you can always spend some frequent flyer miles and catch up with her show in 2015 at the Kunskiste Gallery.
