Farm Dinners

For us, the goal is to be timeless.  This does not mean we only embrace things that have been around for a while.  Instead, our goal is to take the best of as many time periods as possible.  (As much as we respect the achievements of the past, we are also equally impatient for the future.)

One example of this may be farm dinners.  All across New England are events designed to bring contemporary minded groups together to eat very local food that has often been grown using organic techniques dating back centuries on heritage crops, marketed on blogs and other websites.

The first of our four we held last night.

Not everyone appreciates the "No Dogs" rule.

Dinners At The Farm, July 11 - 14

The tents have arrived and after several weeks of preparing our new field we have a place to put them.
We again look forward to hosting Dinners At The Farm with Jonathan Rapp and his hard working crew from River Tavern.  This is our fifth year working with Jonathan and due to the popularity of the Dinners, the tent size keeps increasing to accommodate all the additional people.
Sod needed to be put down, as the grass seed kept washing away in all the heavy rains at the end of Spring.
But the fingerling potatoes didn't mind the rain at all.

Contact Dinners At The Farm to make your reservation, we'd love to have you join us!
